Android Cop (2014) "Android Cop" eh? Jee, I wonder what movie this one is trying to copy. Read more> |

Aenigma (1987) Generally speaking, the later Lucio Fulci movies are of course not as loved as some of his classic earlier ones. Not entirely his fault really. Times simply change and Fulci's style of film-making and storytelling was simply absolutely more fitting for the '70's and early '80's time period. He didn't really tried to adapt to new ways and standards, so all of his later movies tend to feel a bit outdated for its time. Read more> |

Welcome to the Jungle (2013) The comedy of the movie either works for you or it doesn't. What one person laughs at, another person may cringe at. Personally, the humor of the movie just didn't really do it for me and to be honest, I don't think I laughed even once. Read more> |

Grand Piano (2013) Are we sure that Brian De Palma didn't somehow directed this movie. It has a modern Hitchcock vibe to it with the story and concept and it's filled with lots of long, complex, swirling shots that De Palma would be jealous of. In other words, it sounds like a perfect movie for every movie lover but yet it's far from a brilliant movie though. I'm even reluctant to call it a great one. Read more> |

The Hungover Games (2014) A lame title, a lame looking cover. That can only mean one thing right? Well no, surprisingly enough it's not a totally lame movie as well. Read more> |

Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King (2014) Ah yes, Trevor Slattery. One of the most talked about movie characters of last year and not always in the best of ways. While some just simply shrugged and were amused by the "Iron Man 3" character, others were infuriated and felt that they had ruined and betrayed the character. I still feel that I shouldn't say too much, in regards to the how's and why's of it, since there probably are still plenty of people out there who haven't seen "Iron Man 3" yet but let me just tell you that this short shall most likely take away some of the anger and answer some of the questions in regard to the character. Haunting of the Innocent (2014) The title lets this movie sound like a very generic horror movie and the cover of it makes it seem like one as well. But no, the movie actually is far from a horror movie. I wouldn't even call it a thriller but more of a mystery movie instead. Unfortunately it's not a very good or appealing mystery movie though. La momia azteca contra el robot humano (1958) Sometimes I just want to watch a movie because of its title. The English title of this movie is "The Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy" or "The Aztec Mummy Against the Humanoid Robot", depending on what version you watch. In either case, it's an awful yet very intriguing sounding title. A mummy versus a robot, in a low-budget '50's movie? I'm in! Read more> |
